Start
If a fresh clone is what you reach for whenever Git goes wrong, this is two weeks of staged accidents to fix instead. The next accident at work will be one you have fixed before, in a repository built to break on cue.

The tutor asked what I thought the error meant before saying anything. Annoying on day one; by week three I was doing it unasked.

I finished with a repository I could show in interviews. Two interviewers asked about the project before they asked about anything else on my résumé, and one of them had read the tests. I had spent eight years in retail management, and this was the first thing I had ever built that a stranger could download, install and run on their own machine.

The exercises break things on purpose. Fixing the failing run in module three taught me more than any of the lectures I have sat through.

Too basic for me. The last module is what I came for, and it is short.

Hana reviews the project the way a senior colleague would: short comments, each pointing at one line of your code and asking why it is there.

I use something from this course every week. The notes on failure paid for it.

No. The first module starts from nothing, and the tutor in each lesson answers the questions a first-timer asks, however basic they feel. What you need is 3 hours a week and a browser.
Nothing expires. 2 weeks at 3 hours a week is the pace the course was planned at, and at an hour a week it takes 6 weeks. The panel above works out a finish date for whatever pace you give it.
This one is self-paced only: at 2 weeks it would be over before a cohort found its rhythm. The discussion under each lesson is where the other learners are, and the instructor reads it.
The project itself, reviewed, and a line on your record that links to it. A guided project carries no certificate, because the finished work, with the review attached, is the thing you show an employer.
Yes. The course, the tutor and the project review cost nothing now and nothing later, and nobody asks you for a card at any point.
No. A free course is free on every plan, tutor and project review included, and Waypoint Plus adds nothing to it.
It opens with the tutor beside it and the practice set under it. The other 6 lessons cost nothing either, and nobody asks for a card.
No card, now or later.
