The course is built around the spreadsheet Sam used to raise a second company's seed round from nine investors. You fill it with your own numbers, one tab a week, until it shows you which lever to pull first.

I raised my prices in week two, and the course paid for itself within a month. Sam does not let a neat spreadsheet hide a guess from you.

It changed how I prepare for any conversation about money. I walked into my salary review with a number, and I walked out with it.

Short lessons, real homework and a project that somebody reads and answers. I have not found that on any other course I have paid for.

I used what I built in module three in a real investor meeting last spring. Nobody found a hole in it, and I knew where the holes would have been, because the course had made me dig every one of them myself first. We closed the round in June, and two of the investors asked which consultancy had built our model. I had built it myself, at my kitchen table.

Useful, but it assumes a software business. I run a bakery, so I translated half of the examples into flour, rent and staff hours.

A lot of theory for a course sold as practical. The second half is better than the first, and it is where the exercises and the project start.

Enough of the basics to follow along without stopping to look things up. Lesson one is free, so open that first: if its practice set feels routine to you, you are ready for the rest of the course.
Nothing expires. 4 weeks at 3 hours a week is the pace the course was planned at, and at an hour a week it takes 12 weeks. The panel above works out a finish date for whatever pace you give it.
This one is self-paced only: at 4 weeks it would be over before a cohort found its rhythm. The discussion under each lesson is where the other learners are, and the instructor reads it.
A certificate from the school that made the course, and the project the instructor's team reviewed. Each comes with a link that anyone, an employer included, can open and check in a few seconds.
Yes, within 30 days of enrolling, from your account page and with no form to fill in or reason to give. Lesson one is free with the tutor, so most people know the course suits them before they pay.
Waypoint Plus is $29 a month and opens this course along with every other. At $69 this one costs about 2 months of it, so buy it on its own if it is the only course you mean to take this year.
It opens with the tutor beside it and the practice set under it, and asks for no card. The other 11 lessons are $69 once, or part of Plus.
